Return & Exchange Policy & Procedure                                                                                                                                                    THE GREEN LIVING CENTER   

 

The Green Living Center processes all payments at the time the order is placed.  If an item is backordered or delayed, Customer Service will notify the customer and provide the option to wait, exchange, or cancel and receive a refund.  Qualified refunds will be made by issuing a Credit to the original Credit Card.  

 

Returns for Refund will be accepted under certain conditions.  

1.       The Green Living Center must be notified via email, www.sales@theGreenLivingCenter.com requesting a return and refund within five days of receipt of merchandise.  After the initial five day period, returns will only receive a store credit.  After one month, no returns will be accepted.  The only exception occurs for holiday purchases made between Thanksgiving and Christmas for which requests for returns are accepted through the first week of January.

2.       Refund requests within 5 days will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.  This number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return shipping box, and shipped to:

Unauthorized returns will be refused and sent back to customer.

3.       Refunds will be made for merchandise only.  Shipping charges will not be refunded under any circumstances.  If the original purchase was shipped “free of shipping” charges, the actual cost that was incurred by The Green Living Center will be subtracted from the refund.

4.       Returns will be inspected.  To receive a refund the return merchandise must be in original packaging, all tags must be attached, the merchandise must be free of dirt, marks or damage.  Only items available for resale at full retail value will be accepted.  No refund will be granted for items that have been worn, laundered or soiled.  The only exception is items that were defective or damaged.  If an item is received in defective condition, please return as originally packaged.

5.       Sale or Clearance items are sold As Is and are not eligible for return for exchange or refund, unless it was received in a defective condition.

6.       Exchanges will follow step 2 above.  The exchanged (new) merchandise will not be shipped until receipt of the returned item, unless the customer has authorized The Green Living Center to charge for the exchanged item and then a credit will be issued once the returned item is received.

7.       The customer is fully responsible for the “return” shipping and insurance charges for the item.  The Green Living Center will ship the first exchange without additional shipping charge to the customer.  If there is a 2nd exchange of the item the customer will be responsible for shipping in both directions.
